NavFree Italy

I was surprised to learn that my IPhone and Ipad could both navigate w/o cellular or wifi links using a built-in GPS. Live and learn.

Took a maiden trip with this app from Sigonella NAS in Sicily to Giarre and back, maybe 100 km.

It worked great except it took me on narrow dirt roads for a portion of the trip so I reset the device to "easy" and that led me to satisfying results.

It was very install initially, I guess the Pgm is large, but well worth the wait. I plan to upgrade ASAP.
